Nice museum in a central location. The museum itself is quite small and the experience probably mostly based on what exhibition they run, right now there is a very good one with art by David Hockney but unfortunately it is almost over.

Perhaps I am not sophisticated enough to appreciate the exhibit but I literally spent 15 minutes there. The videos were boring and the documents in the showcase were unexplainable. The entrance fee was a steep 12 euros!

IC 98 exhibition is a positive surprise. It provides only 6 presentations that however took 1,5 hour for me to experience and go through. Yes, this is to experience, in silence, with time. It is a meditative experience. You are immersed with art works. I...More

This museum is quite small. This time there was a Secundino Hernández exhibition which I didn't understand at all. The building itself was more interesting.

Love it that the appreciation of graffiti as art has reached Finland and much respect to taidehalli for this show. The EGS exhibition was excellent and showed that the historic surroundings of taidehalli are fit for all sorts of art.

This was a great street art exhibit. And we enjoyed the cafe. It is a small exhibit space so they concentrate on one artist but that was good. Check it out whatever is on when you go.

I saw a really cool exhibit here called Manifesto. I think it ends in October of 2017, but it was so well done I'd definitely go back and see other exhibits here. Staff was very friendly and the space is in a cool old building....More

You won't miss this historic gallery, it's a distinctive Nordic Classical building that's distinct and attractive. It was built in the 1920s and still is relevant today. When I was in Helsinki the exhibit was a self portrait exhibit of Finnish artists. It was a...More

You can easily walk to Taidehalli from Kamppi area (bus station). This museum is small and Anu Pentik's exhibition (11.3-14.5.2017) is interesting;although I expected a more diverse sample of her production. Free entrance with the Finnish Museum Card, otherwise EUR 12 per adult. Temporary exhibitions:...More
