it's cheap to have a day trip in Tallinn taking the ship from Helsinki, only cost 14 euros for a return trip, but be prepared to meet many drunk people during the trip. There are live band performance on the ship but kind of old fashion, but considering the price, you dont have much expectation. everything is okay except when... More

The boat is OK and has a limited selection of food and beverages. The real problem is the large amount of drunk aggressive people trying to get on/off the ferry when it departs/lands. The boat crew is not efficient when it comes to opening doors so that the furious crowd can pass.

Make sure you arrive early to get a good seat. Great seating by the windows are limited. There is shopping, dinning, several bars, and even had a live band on the ship. It is worth the price for a day trip to Estonia. It takes about 2.5 hours each way, but the time flies by when enjoying the ships amenities.

Great value, simple online booking and hassle free crossing. Ship has lots of facilities to help pass the time. Don't know if any better or worse than the numerous other operators plying this route, but would guess (being one of the larger operators and also taking vehicles) it would be more likely to run in bad weather than some of... Ekerö Line is a good option for a day trip to Tallinn. They have a good buffet restaurant serving breakfast and dinner. I recommend this as the selections are good and Ekerö prides in preparing the meals onboard. Weekends are busy and booking a table for the meals is wise. If you have luggage use the lockers or book a... More

Took the ferry from Helsinki to Tallinn on Eckero line and it was a great and hassle free way between destinations. The trip was just over 2 hours a d departed and arrived on time. The ferry itself was comfortable with plenty of seating and entertainment to keep you occupied for two hours. The band playing in the front bar... More

Nice liner consisting of nine decks including a few decks of parking for cars, lorries, etc and cabins and also a place to shop. There are cafes/bars and children area where there was magic show. There were also live entertainment on the way back to Helsinki. Did not check out the whole liner as we were enjoying the cold wind on... More

For only 19EUR, I took a 2 hour ferry ride on a cruise liner from Helsinki to Tallinn. This was probably the best 19EUR I’ve ever spent. Screen Shot 2016-08-12 at 12.39.20 AM There are actually several ferry companies that go between Finland and Estonia. I priced them out and Eckero happened to have the best price for the time...
