In comparison to New York's High Line we have a Low Line called Baana, which has also been converted from an old railway line, that used to connect the harbour to the Main Railway station. It is a quick and safe way to cross the city by bike or walking and offers interesting glimpses of the houses above. Baana is... More

Baana is a good way to cut off the traffic if you are in the centre and want to get to west harbour or the newly constructed parts of the city. It's runs in old railway line grotto.

Baana is the new pedestrian zone made on the old railway in Central Helsinki. Its a good way to walk around and enjoy nice garden surroundings. "Baana", is the finnish slang word for a highway.
