Even if you aren't a fan of cemeteries, believe me, this is quite a different one. You will actually enjoy this walk through this big cemetery and you won't feel the typical cemetery melancholic mood. Finish the walk on the beach, which is outstanding for...More

A huge cemetery near the sea. Not many monumental graves, but it is quite peaceful and atmosperic because of the many trees and lawns. Interesting for history lovers and visitors of old cemeteries.

This is a beautiful cemetery. I went to see Mannerheim's grave but the whole experience was one of beauty, peace, flowers, trees, tasteful monuments and respect. If cemeteries are your thing, go an enjoy.

Having just returned from our trip to Helsinki and having visited this beautiful Cemetary I must say it is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I have ever visited. The well kept gardens and burial grounds are a pleasure to wonder through.
