This was the second time that we visited this museum with my daughter. Some of the sections were a bit boring for a ten-year-old, but most of them she was really interested in. A lot of details you can study with the kid. Especially the dinosaur chamber is beautifully setup.

The natural museum is a great place if you are interested in the Finnish natural history. The eye catcher is the double headed veal.

The museum is not that big, but still it really uses its square meters efficiently. It covers prehistorical nature, Finnish nature, all types of geographical areas. The animals are beautifully setup, a lot of info or items to touch, pull, lift, etc. Very friendly staff, we could store our luggage in a separate room and they explained where we could... More

This is fairly nice natural history museum with lot of exhibits. Nothing overly fancy or remarkable, but decent. For small children there could more interactive stuff.

It has been my wife's favourite museum since childhood. Last year she bought an annual ticket for 50 euros and visited the museum for 20 times or so. Great value for money, now it is part of the Museokortti (museum card) concept. Children are free of charge. This museum is a favourite of our four year old daughter also. We... More

Although it isn't as big as other natural nature museums around the world but I thing that that it's still very good museum with many things to seeing and learning. There are many kind of animals and the... More

The have a lot of amazing scenes done. You get also a good overview of the nature of Finnland. There is a audio guide available. Take it. Not all the information are written in English!
