Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Presidential Palace is situated on the north side of Esplanadi, overlooking Market Square.

The neoclassical palace was completed in 1845 by architect Carl Ludvig Engel.

Today it is used primarily for presidential functions and receptions. The official residence of the President is Mäntyniemi near Seurasaari Island.

The palace is not open to the public.

The Presidential Palace is another one of the beautiful buildings at Market Square. This square has any gorgeous and iconic buildings and the palace is one if the main attractions. You are sure to see it on your way to the ferry or when patronizjng one of the many restaurants at Market square. It is just another photo opt.

With an open market square right in-front of it, it is always busy most of the week. Ferry to suomeliina is also taken from there, a Finnish fortress during the war with Russia. Soldier standing guard all the time in-front of the palace. You can actually get some cheap thing from the erected mobile shops of just have a coffee, can be romantic though.

This looks like a nice enough building. It’s across from the harbor with the ferries and tour boats. It looks nice but not super fancy.

Nothing fancy, no White House or Downing Street. Spend your time elsewhere doing something more worthwhile I’d say!

The yellow building guarded by soldiers and gold headed spears is the workplace of our president, he lives with the family at the Mäntyniemi residence in Meilahti. Last summer he posed here for the media and crowds with colleges Putin and Trump during their negotiations. Once a year about 1700 Finns are invited to the Independence reception at the palace on December 6th. The rest of us watch the show live on tv commenting on the dresses worn, this discribes our idea of representative democracy.

The President's Palace is next to the Market Square. Rarely, tourists have access to round trips because they are in active use.

The Presidential Palace in Helsinki is one of the official residences in Helsinki of the President of the Republic of Finland. It is situated on the north side of Esplanadi, overlooking Market Square. I witnessed the same when I was touring the city in the hop on hop off bus and even got down to get a closer look. In its role as the official residence of the President of Finland, the Presidential Palace has hosted a number of important foreign visitors and dignitaries. Royal visitors to the palace have included Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, Olav V of Norway, Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom, Juan Carlos I of Spain, the Mohammad Reza Pahlavi of Iran, and Emperor Akihito of Japan as well. I am not sure if you can get a tour of the palace because I could not.

Tour or not, the Presidential palace is wonderful place to be when you are in
