Sitting in the middle of the park, near the lake, this sculpture is dedicated to one of Finland's most famous composers/musicians, Jean Sibelius. These hollow pipes are impressive and makes you wonder what wonderful music they could produce.

undoubtedly Finland's most famous musician and composer. The sculpture is thought provoking. Allow 30 minutes.

I walked to the monument after the visit of Rock Church. On the way there, I passed a district library, some residential area, and a nice park. The monument itself is not big, but quite unique design with all the metal pipes putting together. If...More

Sibelius memorial is one of the main tourist attractions in Helsinki. Typically they come with a bus, take a lot of photos and selfies of the memorial designed by Eila Hiltunen in 1967 and then go back to the bus. The park is much larger...More
