Very beautiful island just a few minutes off the coast of Helsinki. A rarity in itself a secluded nude beach, if normal beaches aren´t your cup of tea.

It is an island located very near Helsinki and from where you access in summertime by small ferry from Eira (next to restaurant Carrousel). It is a very nice boat trip and even better island where you can enjoy sunbathing (on beach or on rocks...More

I enjoyed spending midsummer here. There is a nice fire. The Island is, I can imagine, very beautiful at other times, too. There are beaches, a lot of nature. Connection is via ferry from the city center (look up the timetable online)

You can take a ferry from Helsinki on a beautiful summer day. Ferries leave from Cafe Carousel and take 5-10 minutes. There are beaches with services as well as more private spots for your picnic. Very natural and beautiful. There's a café/restaurant, too.

its a nice little island, but not a must do. beautiful seaside hangouts can be found everywhere outside helsinki. the cool thing about this is that its right off the city shores and has a cozy sand beach for those rare hot days.

Great trails, nice sandy beaches, sauna and pier on the south side of the island. We took ferry over and had nice causal dinner at the cafe on last day of August.

Next to the Finland's Gulf and only 5 minute boat trip from Cafe Carousel. Great park to walk with friends or family. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The seascapes are excellent, the restaurant relaxing and nice.

Smallish island very close to Helsinki. Ferry takes 20 minutes to bring you from Kaivopuisto to Pihlajasaari. Beatiful scenery and beach where you can swim.

If by any chance the weather is hot (hah!!! not always a case in Finland) and you want to relax little bit out of hustle and bustle, take a boat to Pihlajasaari where you can sunbath, swim (if cold Finnish waters do not not scare...More
