You can easily spend a couple of hours here! The amount of information and items, videos, etc. is very good and the exhibition is entertaining, touching and also very informative. You'll get a good idea of Finland's past and present here!

The exhibits and the outstanding guide made our visit most informative. Although the exhibits and the building could use an update, the visit was highly worthwhile, as we learned much about Finnish history and the oppression from Russia.

We enjoyed our visit to the National Museum. The exhibitions were well organized and English language option was offered. The route through the museum could have been better marked. Surprising was also that there was a ticket check in the middle of the museum.

I was a bit shocked at the admission charge (€12 each not including the temporary exhibitions). We spent half a day there so it is probably worth it. Lots on the very early history and lots on more recent history (all very interesting) but very...More

This museum is a great tribute to Finish struggle for independence, against their dominant neighbours. There are great exhibits, but the timeline is not clear and should be added. The only one is for the recent history, from crisis in early 1990s to success of Nokia!

Our walking tour off our cruise ship took us through Mannerheim Street which has this museum. Also along here are the Music Hall, the House of Parliament, the Museum of Contemporary Art.

The Finnish National Museum, this looks like a Church from the outside. Staff were very good, so after getting tickets and working out the locker system, we wandered through this small museum. It has many interesting sections from prehistory, through wonderful medieval wooden carvings, up...More
