A nice selection of traditional buildings of different types, relaxing walk through the island with viewpoints all around. Few cafes and a summer restaurant. Bring some nuts for the half tame squirrels.

This is a beautiful place where you can come and have a walk while seeing different things related Finnish culture. To see how they were living and what type of houses helps to understand how much everything has changed. Great for Summer time and specially coming with kids to enjoy a nice meal (in a restaurant or your own one...)

Historical place. Lot of buildings and cottages from around the Finland. There is lot of animals in the Island and also really nice church (there is lot of weddings in the summer time). It is nice place just walk and hanging around. You can find also some restaurants or you can take our own picnic with you.

Relaxing place for a walk. Green island - perfect for a lonely walk or a family stroll. Squirells eats directly from children hands.

Beautiful island with great walks through history. Enjoy the fresh air and pop in to some lovely cafes there too. It is unspoilt and just a gorgeous place to visit.

Nice place for walking and calm down. Popular area, but not too crowded, I think. At mid summer you can enjoy of a bonfire over here.

A good place for walking in the nature by the sea almost in the middle of the city. In the summer even nicer and possibility for outdoor museum visit and nice place for picnic.

I have visited this place both in the summer and in the winter. It has charme on both periods, although I prefer summertime. The open-air museum is informative, but most of all the seaside is fascinating and walking down the island is worth any time of the day. It is also possible to use a barbecue.
