I love this park and we always try to be near it when we come to Finland . The sculptures are so interesting and the foliage and flowers are always beautiful and cared for .
This linear park runs between the main lanes of a downtown boulevard. It is clean, pretty, and appeared safe. I used this park each of the six days that I stayed in Helsinki, including walking to the Viking ferry terminal.
Lovely little park in the city and great to have some ice cream (the one with the cart is great!) and chat on the grass. If want a break from walking/sightseeing, nice thing to do with friends/family during the summer.

The Esplanadi park is popular with locals and tourists. There was a national festival in the park when we were there and it was nice to see people dressed in national costumes. There is a cafe in the park and stalls selling juice and coffee.
This is a beautifully maintained, tree lined, grassy expanse right in the middle of the old town area of Helsinki. The day we were there they had a sizeable food festival with a multitude of vendors offering national dishes from their respective countries. The place...More
take a walk through a beautiful city starting from the center all the way to the sea. Relaxing and everything to see, people, shops, market square. good walk to drop the workstress from your mind.
