Lots of vendors to choose from. Fruit comes direct from the county and is cheaper than in grocery stores. Traditional meals and soups also available. Helsinki souvenirs throughout the market.

What's not to like when you're surrounded by fresh Cloud Berries from the Arctic, cherries from Spain, Blackberries that are so plump and juicy that I didn't recognise what they are. The market has some great gear, including an Estonian woman who makes the greatest...More

We have always stayed at the Cumulus Hakaniemi and these markets are right opposite. Great place to grab a coffee and "possu" donut or some waffles with jam and cream. Lots of fruit and veges to see and the berries are so fresh and sweet

The market has a mix of items from fresh fruit and vegetables to the typical tourist trinkets. Can get overwhelmingly crowded at times.

This market offers an enormous variety of typical fruit, fish, meat and vegetable. You can eat at the restaurants next to the market stands or take something home and dream about the finish summer
