This a must when you have time enough whwn visiting Helsinki tovisit also in Tallin. It is very easy to do it with a Viking Line. It takes onky about 2.5 hours to do it in one direction. In Tallin you will see another Hansa city from 1500 century. Espicialally we recommend to visit at palace of Kadriog which is... More

I used it to go to Estonia and back, easy trip, nice ship, good places to get food, easy to get onboard and check in.

Travelled today using the Vikingline.Great value for money to get across to Tallin from Helsinki. We took tram 4T from the city centre down to the port terminal. Once on board the ship, we sat in the restaurant area on the 8th floor deck with a front view of the ship. It was great and there was free wifi. Sometimes... More

Normally I've used Silja Line more but sometimes for the budget travelers' group I choose Viking from Stockholm to Trukku. The arrival time is too early to have breakfast right after getting up 1 hour earlier due to the time difference!

I loved the cruise from Helsinki to Tallinn! We had a 4 people cabin but barely used it as we went to explore this big vessel and ended up having a drink at the lively bar. My girlfriend, however, enjoyed a nice sleep at the spacious and well fitted cabin while we had our drinks. The ride was too short... More

I took the overnight ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm in January. The boat was fine - my above deck cabin was cosy, clean and comfortable. My dinner in the seafood restaurant was excellent (not cheap though!) and I enjoyed the breakfast buffet too. My only issue was the other passengers - who basically ruined this experience for me. Well into... More

I wasn't exactly a day cruise. Kinda sorta. I took the VS Mariella one way from Stockholm to Helsinki. The price was fair, the cabin was nice. My planned seafood dinner was amazing, a little pricey but well worth it. The breakfast buffet was good, my -only- complaint is just one four-slice toaster for everyone to use... The spread and... Second time on Viking Xprss to Tallinn. Chose it again because the scheduling was good (11.30 departure and 18.00 return). Four hours was enough for our purpose of going to Super Alko (next to the ferry terminal) and Norde Centre (about a 6 min. walk), where there is a large Rimi supermarket. Excellent value for the day cruise (EUR 20... More

The Viking XPRS ferry takes you to Tallinn very fast. The ferry is ok and food is good. Usually it is full of Finns who travel to Estonia to get cheap alcohol.
