The guided tour is really well organized. The guide is eager to give all the information not just for the castle also for further questions regarding Finland.

Food was OK but horrendously expensive for what it was, if you fancy wine with your meal stick with the white!!

Wow, cool place to visit, beautiful ice carvings, great views from top of castle. Nice food, staff very helpful and professional. Can get very cold, so plenty of layers during winter season.

If you are ever in Finland between Jan and March you must go see the snow castle. It is amazing, the intricate details in the ice/snow. The themes in each hotel room were so enjoyable. I believe we enjoyed the Library the most although we were in awe of all the artistic designs in the whole place. The restaurant was... More

The design and ice artwork inside were attractive. However, it's difficult to get there. You are suggested to get inside and have a hot drink tho.

We stopped in Kemi on our way to Helsinki from Lapland. It made for a nice one hour stop to explore the snow castle. Didn't make us want to stay there, but it was cool to see! Very cold inside though!

It was a unique experience to see a building made of ice and snow. Walking through Snowcastle was colder than outside, so don't forget your gloves.

this is a weird place-not sure I would have chosen it-but it was part of a tour and something out of the ordinary for sure.

The snow castle is smaller than I had imagined it to be. Nevertheless, it's still amazing how these fine structures are being curved out from ice. Had a great time chilling in the warm and cosy bar. Had upgraded our stay from the snow hotel to snow villa. The view was amazing! Since it's once in a lifetime experience, we... More

We stayed a night in the snow castle last weekend. It was a wonderful experience, the castle is enthralling, the designs and sculptures are fantastic. The food in the restaurant was lovely and quick service. The night was spent in suite 1 , the sleeping bags are extremely warm but mummy style which can restrict you moving about particularly legs...
