For WWII military fans, very interesting to see the 'war room' and offices of mannerheim in an old elementary school, which is where they were actually located.

If you are interested in the war time history this museum gives a thorough insight of Finland's involvement in the second world war. Lots of information, material and videos. A little hard to concentrate with the overlapping noise from the rooms.

It's the actual place where Mannerheim lead Finnish army at WW2. There are some rooms with authentic pieces and furniture, and a lot of information about Finland during WW2.

A must for every visitor to Mikkeli: HQ Museum full of Finnish war history with Marshall Mannerheim. Take time to visit every room and sit down for the excellent video presentation. Especially for history lovers and for everybody willing to understant the modern Finland.
