This is a must visiting Halmstad. Small museum just outside the town. Very nice exhibition from Rodney Smith and his pictures. Also a very interesting exhibition from Halmstad Gruppen.

The building itself is interesting and cozy especially during summer when you can enjoy a cup of tea in the inner garden. They usually have great exhibitions with well-known and very popular artists (latest I saw a Man Ray exhibition and after that Götegorgs koloristerna)....More

A small but very interesting museum. You can find something for all tastes there. And also a nice little workshop for the children.

If you are in Halmstad and like art I think you should go to Mjellby Art museum. It is not a large museum, but it does a good job. You could also enjoy a coffe break after the tour.

This is not a huge museum and that is precisely what makes it so good. Mjellby knows why they exist and they stick to it: (i) to showcase the Swedish surrealist group of artists called Halmstadgruppen and (ii) to curate interesting exhibitions of other, related...More
