Beautifull park in the city.Perfect for people with small children,lots of things for them to do,playground,small zoo,.. Nice to walk around,but only if you don't have any other plans,there are more interesting things to see and do in Karlstad.

You can find typical cottages in the park, some little houses with animals and the beautiful lake as well.

I loved this place as it has a nice walking trail of 4 km and a lot of activites for childern. Entrance is Free. There is a coffee shop ( i think its open only for summer). There is a watch tower inside the park...More

You can have ice cream and go for a mini golf round during the warmer season. There are a sand beach. Animals for the children to watch. There are two café, one "Naturum" and one that serves pancakes. Nice walks in the park. Bird watching...More

Go here if you're in Karlstad. Wonderful visitors centre. Good information. A nice play park for kids and it has terrific walking paths and sight towers for bird watching. Really impressed. Locals are very lucky to have such a wonderful open space for their families...More
