The people were lovely in here. I just wanted to have a look around, however one of the gentleman took me round and explained what everything was.

Situated at the old Swedish Air Force reconnaissance base, now Stockolm-Skavsta Airport, you will find a handful of aircraft and a lot of gear used at the base. Stay an hour or two if you are passing by. Notice that the museum is not open all week!

Lots to see here. Everything from the Cold War and spy technology (photos) cameras, older Swedish military aircraft to a working flight simulator. Something for everyone, and a cafe ....

Very knowledgeable and kind people who are running this museum and preserve memories and planes from the past. I got to test a simulator which was really, really fun. Interesting knowledge about construction and technical solutions of Swedish planes. People who were flying them are often guides. I am not a plane freak but my husband is and spending time... More

This museum 9Not the best signposted) in situated on the old Swedish Air force base, is relatively small but has some great exhibits and summarises the military aviation history of the base, now a commercial airport very well

It is not the biggest and best museum, but the old men running it has gathered an intresting collection. Kids will love to run around and test the planes allowed for sitting in. If you fly to Skavsta Airport, it is in the same area. Free parking (for the museum, not for flights :) ) Swedish history from the time... More
