Very interesting outdoors museum, with beautiful wooden houses. Almost like a real village, even if it is fake (the buildings gavee mostly been relocated here from other parts of linkoping).

I have lived here much of my life and rate this the number 1 attraction in Linköping. This is especially true for North American visitors who will be more awed by the old houses etc. It could be described as a (much) less touristy and...More

There was a lot to see even though the shops were already closed. I took a lot of lovely pictures there and added some of them here.

Lovely opportunity to walk through time/history and see how were people leaving 100 years ago. Very interesting for kids and especially to visit classroom from 1840. Perfect place to spend day off with kids.

An interesting collection of original older buildings that have moved to an area of the city to recreate a small town. There are shops with handicrafts, tea rooms, a small theatre, exhibitions and demonstrations of industry (such as blacksmith demonstrations), a youth hostel, a working...More

Very pleasant assembly of old buildings. Great atmosphere! Like taking a trip in a time machine. Well worth a visit and a stroll. Peek into the shops and have a coffee somewhere.
