The Castle has a nice moat and gardens surrounding it. Inside the castle is closed except for small exhibition of the castle as it was earlier which takes just about 2-3 minutes to have a look

Recommend to go a sunny day and take pictures from the outside. Walk around it and if you would like to learn more take a guided tour.

A medieval castle that lies on an island in river Svartån. For over 700 years, Örebro Castle has kept a watchful eye on everyone crossing the bridge on the River Svartån.

you can't miss this building as it is in the middle of the town. Nothing to see inside but the outside structure is pretty cool.

When visiting this region it's worth to spend and hour and take a look. Especially in Autumn as the colours are around the castle with the trees are amazing.

Orebro Castle is so picturesque from the outside that even if you don't have time to do more, it is worth at least a stop to appreciate. Orebro makes a great stop if you are driving west/east in Sweden as the town center itself is...More

Very nicely preserved building. Good landmark. Stands gorgeous in middle of town. As a visit, though, not much to get excited about.
