Very unique space

It's a little out of the way on the road to the cruise ship docks, but it's a stop on the Hop on Hop off buses. A few select exhibits, definitely a modern art type of feel.

Magazine III is a fantastic art museum. If you are in Stockholm you have to visit this unbelievable museum of contemporary art. Go and se M*r>Or Tony Oursler 16-11 Dec 16. You have to see it!! It is absolutely fantastic and beyond. After that I am sure new fantastic art will be displayed. Enjoy. It should have longer opening hours!!

I just have to give a shout-out to this somewhat obscure exhibition space. It's out of the way ( but because it's Stockholm, there's nonetheless frequent and excellent public transportation). The entrance is unusual, to say the least--clearly marked, but nonetheless it feels like a loading dock. The three exhibitions on offer when I was there Were, in turn, disturbing,... More

Although a bit far from the city centre, it is something art lovers can't miss. It is easily reachable with a bus (number 76 or 1) and the location is just perfect, an old warehouse. Of course a lot depends on the temporary exhibition being shown at that time, so check the internet site beforehand. The cafe is also extremely... More

This gallery shows temporary exhibitions and sometimes selections of its acquired works, so check the site to see if the featured artists interest you. However, they have high standards and the location - a former storage space by the docks - has been well adapted to its purposes. It's some distance from the center, but easy to reach by bus...
