If you book the tour with restaurant lunch you will enjoy the best seat in the house. The meals are very good for the price and the wine list is also excellent value. But the best bit is you can sit on the top floor...More

For a wonderful day out, book one of these and travel out to some of the islands in the inner archipelago. Excellent English speaking guide, and lunch if you want it.

I took the luncheon archipelago tour. The tour goes through 23 islands of the archipelago. The guide shares info about each of the islands along the way. They also have a brochure with some information about each island, which includes a map of the route...More

A great way to find out about the Stockholm Archipelago. The tour is guided so you can follow on a map where the points of interest are. The boat we went on was clean and spacious enough even though it was busy. The route is...More

Completely enjoyed the 3 hour boat ride. Advice - get in line early for the preferred upstairs outside seating - we did! Lovely views of waterside homes - both elegant and summer cottages. Nice lifestyle there.

We had great weather for this 3hour trip into the vast archipelago of islands. It was accompanied by a very good, informative commentary. There was a well-recommended restaurant on the boat (which we did not use) A great value short cruise if you have limited...More

We took the two-and-a-half-hour Archipelago Tour with guide from Strandvägen. Pre booked and arrived 30m early, but no discernible queuing system in place, so we just found ourselves in the throng. It was a free-for-all when boarding started, any pretence of a queue immediately evaporated....More

The M S Angantyr cruise was an excellent evening, good food with good wine, all served with good humour from the start of the evening until the end. Typical Swedish fayre, various pickled herring options, lovely salmon dish with a myriad of accompanying dishes, finished...More

The boat is indeed old, but beautifully maintained and I enjoyed the atmosphere. However, I was in line early, got a choice seat on the lower level along the window wall on a moderately comfortable bench seat. Windows are placed high and to see required...More

My other half and I took a Christmas lunch cruise to Vaxholm in early December. There was some initial confusion upon boarding the boat and we were not directed to the restaurant where the food was being served. Luckily when we finally realised we were...More

With its high-end shopping facilities and
Michelin-starred restaurants, Östermalm is definitely
the poshest part of central Stockholm. Here you will
find Stockholm’s most majestic residential buildings,
a beautiful market hall from 1888 displaying gourmet
foods from around the world and the Swedish Royal
Dramatic Theatre with its awe-inspiring architecture.
At night, legendary nightclubs make the perfect

It's a distance from Sodermalm to Strandvagen where the cruises go from. You need to get the T-Bana (underground system) or bus. For example you could get the T-Bana #13 from nearby Mariatorget station to Ostermalmstorg... More
Hi, I'm looking to book 2 adults tickets for the Archipelago tour at the end of January. I can see that the only time slot available at this time of year is 12.00 which means there is no lunch option. A shame as all the reviews say the lunch option is excellent. I'd still like to book but can you tell me if you are able to sit inside as 3 hour outside is a very long time in such a cold winter!! Thanks in advance =)

I´m sorry for the late answer. The older vessels are narrow and there are stairs and elevation changes which makes it difficult to maneuver a wheelchair on board these ships. The Cinderella boats in Stockholm are... More
