The views of Old Town and Central Stockholm from Sodermalm give you the great expanse of the city. Sodermalm is a great place to stay because it is away from the hustle and bustle of the more tourist-laden central city. It is close and one...More

We went into this little town by mistake as our original plan was to visit the Old Town. It is better to explore by walking as there are lots of uphill slopes which makes biking very challenging.

Really feels full of locals - nice bars slightly away from tourist hub. Great shops and fantastic walk right around island - no cars, beautiful and interesting views and an outdoor swimming location

We stayed in Sodermalm in two different locations...great place to stay that is easy to find cafes, restaurants, markets or walk to other parts. We walked to everything from here...including the Vasa Museum. Friendly and beautiful streets to stroll around in.

It is a shame and disgrace that people are desecrating the very name of my hometown by calling it "The Brooklyn of Stockholm" . Wannabe hipsters, wack art and food. I would only go to La Neta-they serve authentic Mexican tacos.... Other than that it...More

My friend and I spent about half a day walking around in Södermalm, which gave us a pretty good impression of this part of the city. We found out that it actually had everything; restaurants, different trendy shops, coffee bars, pubs, parks, churches and some...More

Slussen
A unique mix of grotesque 1960s concrete urban vision

become one of Stockholm’s most architecturally edgy
and controversial neighborhoods. Plans to rebuild the
area have been on the agenda for decades, however, so
far no agreement could be reached, which is the reason
for the continuing decay of its brutalist substance.
Nevertheless, the museums and the main shopping
