Skeppsholmen hold several museum, and great areas for just a little R&R. More quiet than the bustling city centre and the old town, and really worth a visit. Dont miss the old ships and boats that can be seen along your route.

I did not find anything special on this island but it is nice to stroll around if you are to take the ferry to Djurgarden.

The island is quiet and peaceful, great views across the water to some of the architectural highlights of the city, fun and funky old boats docked along part of the island. Modern Museet is here.

Walking around the island of Skeppsholmen is my favorite short walk in Stockholm. To me it captures life on the water.

One of 14 islands that make up the city of Stockholm, Skeppsholmen stands out for its small size and lovely green setting. I went here to visit the Moderna Museet and loved the island's ambiance. It sprawls in an almost-circular fashion at the Baltic Sea...More
