Since Stockholm is such a water city, it's worth it to take boat rides to explore it. This tour is in a comfy boat with narrations in various languages (you can use your own headphones too!) and is very much worth taking.

One might think that taking this tour is something for sun drenched days. It is not! I took the trip on a scattered sunlit day and enjoyed the beautiful autumn colors a long the quais. It is a 2 hour trip with a good guide regarding Stockholm, history and some must know (Vikings did not wore helmets with horns) insides.... More

This is a very nice way to tour the city. It is always nice exploring places from different perspectives. Walking street level is one way, but from the water, you see things differently. There was also a good basic history lesson given along the way using the headphones provided. Since Stockholm is made up of so many different waterways, I... More

My husband and I always take harbor/river boat trips when traveling, as you are able to see a city in a very different way than by just staying onshore, and we love being on the water. San Francisco and Paris have great, spectacularly scenic tours, but this was my favorite because it shared a lot of information about the Swedish... More

This tour started off well with views of the old part of Stockholm. We then passed through the lock from Baltic Sea into Lake Malaren where we pass many apartment blocks. Commentary is by pre-recorded cassette so there is no interaction with the staff. On the return the commentary was more self praise about the achievements of the Swedish people. Felt... More

This is one of the many boat rides that you can opt for. You can choose this one but others are equally good. If you do it all then some information and view might be repeating but It you have time and stockholm pass !! go for it.

This 2 hour boat tour takes you through the lock from lake to Baltic Sea and along the way points out the highlights of the city, allowing you to orient yourself. You can sit outside or inside so even cool weather is not a problem.

Lovely boat trip around Djurgården. It took just over an hour and gave us time to sit and relax after spending a lot of time walking through the city. Staff were lovely, the commentary was perfect. Really recommend.
