This is a must after being in the central area. Here you will find many waking paths. Small cafe's and restaurants. Easy to get there by tram, 10 min.

One of the most picturesque parks I've ever been to. Very big area to walk, jog or have a family picnic. Beautiful in every season actually. A must-see in Stockholm.

The Vasa Museum is the must see. ABBA The Museum is there, Nordic Museum, amusement park Gröna Lund and the Skansen Open Air Museum. You must review and plan your day or Days.

Lovely park with lots of bird life and very few people in the winter. Skansen well worth a visit and the tourist centre cafe.

We were here on a frosty Sunday afternoon — 35 Fahrenheit / 1 centigrade and still enjoyed a very nice walk. Stockholm to me seems like New York City and this is Central Park but better with a 100 different things to do.

One can always be by the water through much of Djurgarden. It is welcoming spring, fall, winter, or spring, and it is frequented by many. Djurgarden is well kept, the surfaces are good, and restaurant options are contiguous.

Lovely garden, both during winter and summer. It tends to get very quiet durin the warm seasons, which makes for great photo opportunities, especially at sunset. One of the really great places Stockholm has got to offer.

I love Djurgården! I went just to walk around along the water past all of the museums and then took the Ferry to Slussen which is at no extra cost with the SL month card!

Djurgarden & Djurgardsbrunn
The island of Djurgården and its northern mainland
extension, Djurgårdsbrunn, impress with a mix of
nature and an abundance of museums, while being
located in walking distance to Stockholm’s city
center. Djurgården not only invites visitors to take
endless walks through a beautiful park landscape
without having to leave the city, but also offers an
incredible range of entertainment facilities, such as

Absolutely! Stockholm is only getting better and better for pedestrians and cyclists, while cars are less welcome. It's a nice walk down Narvavägen from Karlaplan and over the bridge.
