Well, you have natural history museums...and then there is the one in Stockholm! From a collection standpoint this pretty much has a LOT of it all. Its a story you walk through...of Evolution...rocks, animals, mammals..educative...and a good investment for sure...Carry water...after all...the thirst for knowledge can leave you....errr...thirsty?

Even though a lot of the information was in Swedish only, my son and I had a great time visiting this museum twice. Very educational.

Not what you expect of a national museum! This one of the most boring museums I have ever visited. Don´t waste your time or your money.

We actually wanted to go to cosmonova but ended up seeing this museum. But it was worth it. Mainly it was educational for my son. Evolution of man and animals through million years is depicted in a very informative way. Looking at 60mn years of human evolution , one gets a humbling feeling. Must visit for families with kids.

We spent 5 hours here including a film in the cosmonova. Lots to do probably better for those adults that are really into history and younger children. We went with 3 teenagers. Best sections were human animals as this was interactive and the Swedish Nature. The first sections had engllish translations but then after everything was swedish. If you wish... More

Being from London i am used to free entry to some of the biggest and most famous museums in the world. This museum is a little small, but has some excellent exhibitions. Also went to the cosmonova which was fantastic

Here you can find very great displays of animals, Swedish fauna, fossils and early human life. I really liked the dinosaur skeletons and fossils. And these huge whale skeletons were so fascinating!
