I allways visit "Kallis" when I travel to Malmö, it is by far one of the best attractions in town if you are looking for a quiet, calm retreat. The place is divided into a mens and a ladies department and most visitors (age 15-90) are sunbathing or cold bathing nude. in the summer the outdoor area is filled with... More

Fancy being pampered? Cycle of walk out to this location where you will have the opportunity to take in a spa, a massage or just something to eat. Located out on the water people apparently bath here too! However clearly not in November 😀 if you're body image conscious the spa might not be for you as it is naked... More

Returning back tio my native Sweden and my previous hometown Malmö, I think this is the only place I've missed living in Australia... An early morning visit in summer or off season in spring or autumn is a serene experience. Or go hard core Swedish sauna tradition and take a steaming hot sauna in winter time before submerging into the... More

This is an amazing place where you strip down naked, hit the sauna and then have a swim in the cold Øresund. So refreshing and reviving! The complex consists of a restaurant with separated sauna and bathing areas for men and women. Use one of the cabins for leaving personal belongings, and then lay down on the wooden docks to... Bring a towel and a smile. It is a little bit outside of the main city but you can get a bus close by from the train station or a taxi for around 150 SEK. This place is a perfect way to spend a few hours.

Traditional Swedish sauna wit ha dip in Baltic sea to cool down. Yes! Naked. Don't be shy. You can chill out in or outside the sauna. Bring towels (at least 2 big ones - one for sitting in the sauna, the other for after shower) and a padlock. There are small lockers for your valuables. Highly recommended!

I went here after a recommendation from a colleague who lives in Malmo. I truly liked it. Very basic and down to earth. May I say very Swedish? The sauna area fits about 12-15 people and is wood heated. I loved the smell of burning wood outside the sauna. The view is amazing. You see the Öresund bridge to Danmark,... More

Thanks to the very helpful detailed guidance from our Bristol correspondent, I visited this excellent and genuinely old public institution twice in my four nights in Malmo last week: a terrific experience, especially cooling off in the Baltic Sea after 20 minutes in the hot steam room and the hotter dry room. Bring 2 towels and a large padlock for... More

You're in Sweden. You have to have a sauna and a dip in the North Sea! Yes you are expected to be naked so don't be shy! Expect to walk out to the end of the pier and expect the parking to be limited and tight. Bring a towel, something to sit on (a plastic bag to carry your wet... More
