About
A FOOD-LOVERS PARADISE Malmö Saluhall is the obvious destination for anyone who loves quality produce and delicious food. For the melting pot of culture, creativity and fun that is Malmö. For old and young, big and small. A food market for everyone. Here you’ll find sausages hand made in a barn without electricity, plaice that is only caught when it’s high tide around the small island of Ven, knives so sharp they can slice bone marrow, hand-sorted coffee beans, falafel fried in olive oil, chilled tea, Korean street food, locally grown garlic and fresh goat yoghurt. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. A warm welcome to a food-lovers paradise.

I admit that I really enjoy the type of place where you have a combination of old school environment that still feels fresh and modern. To me this is typically such a place. Classic food court in one way where you can choose from a number of places to order something to eat, and bring it to a table. Great because if you are a number of people everyone can find something that they like.
You can also buy very nice food to take home. All things I saw seemed to be of high quality and to a large extent locally produced. Very much to like!

We visited as group there, The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with comfortable seating The lighting was just right, not too bright or too dim, creating the perfect ambiance for a relaxing meal.
Every dish we ordered was expertly prepared with high-quality ingredients and bursting with flavor. From the appetizers to the entrees, everything was delicious and beautifully presented.
Overall, I can confidently say Soluhall is a great place to meet, eat since you can choose from many options.

Malmö, Saluhall, the local Foodhall
Not your classical food-market but a composition of Groceries, Food-Counters, Cafe’s etc.
As mentioned many times before, we make it a point to visit wherever possible the local food destinations!
Malmö is no exception!
What surprised us, was the quality of offerings, one could say probably only the best there is!
From Wood fired Pizza, (those looked indeed amazing) to the delicatessen counter, to the Cafe with the best Cinnamon Buns I have ever tried, totally yummy, totally far too rich (didn’t dare go check the calories, but screw the diet)
Ready prepared meals to take away, to the loveliest freshest Berries now in Hi Season, to the Flower Seller with amazing looking fresh herbs!
Further, everyone, yes, everyone, spoke perfect English, (similar to Norway) one has to take off the hat to that, makes life so much easier for all!
Not a huge market hall, but certainly one with top quality from the important regions is Scandinavia & Europe!
Almost all that a heart desires!
Enjoy:

I love local markets and it’s a must for me everywhere I go. After months in Mälmo I finally went to visit this one. I tried to not have that much expectations but people really post things with a magic atmosphere from there.
The place is REALLY small, so depending on the time you are there be ready to wait a lot to find a place to sit and eat. You can buy meat, fresh fish, chocolates and the options to eat there are not that much. What got my attention was the Italian restaurant (ofc the most busy one), but they also have a meat restaurant (I really want to go back there and try the classic meatball dish), a pizzaria in the back (the pizza is good but under cooked in my opinion). You can also have hambúrgueres, falafel, fish or even just a coffe at st. Jackbs (a must). I almost forgot they have a small ice cream shop (want to go back and try the semla ice cream).
It’s a modest local market but a great option to visit during the weekend.

Local not too crowded during lunchtime, with typical food at affordable prices. We had Swedish meatballs (the ones from Ikea, but that were another world) with mashed potatoes and a delicious sauce. Fair price, always taking into account that in Northern Europe prices are generally higher.

Great atmosphere, noisy and queue to the various shops. Very popular and as it should be in a market hall. If you want quiet and calm with comfortable chairs, you can choose another type of restaurant. The food was amazing and we all had food from different places. Not terribly expensive either as you might think in a market hall. Good portions. We will definitely be back.

An old warehouse transformed into a small market with many restaurants. The place is small and at lunchtimes it is crowded. Food stalls have few Swedish things... many Spanish products at incredible prices..expensive. You can take a walk because there is not much else to do in Malmo

You go out to eat or talk and end up in the world's discos with loud boom boom noise. Why do restaurants think you want to listen to their music when you want to relax, eat and have a good time with friends. Sitting and yelling at each other is not nice. Never again Malmö Saluhall on a Friday!

We visited the Malmo Saluhall at the end of our daily trip to Malmo, right before our return to Copenhagen. You can find so many products and all look delicious!! If it wasn't our vacation we would have definitely shoped more for home.
We did have lunch (2 adults - 2 children) , at the Noi Pizza which I totally recommend. Genuine Italian tastes, all fresh, made at the spot. Everyone was so helpful and polite and the prices where actually very reasonable. I would have expected higher prices for that quality. We had the Capricioza, the Buffala and the margarita as well as the buffala salad (I hope I wrote them correctly). Delicious!!

Very nice place to eat with a variety of good products: ramen, pizzas, pastries, falafels, fish dishes, ice creams... There is something for everyone. Everyone can choose at their stand and come and taste in the room on the upper floor provided. Allow between 10 and 20 EUR for a savory dish. We loved it and had a great time during our discovery of Malmo
