Scaled-down and sacred environment, an old monastery converted from a hospital and now to a church. Beautiful garden in season.

I discovered this while wandering the town of Helsingor and on my way to Kronborg Castle and am glad that I found this. This was a beautiful church and the cloister on the church/monastery was interesting. Peaceful, quaint and beautiful.

The cloister is made of brick which contrasts with the immaculate lawn and flowers all along the edge. Very nice

One of the best preserved monasteries in Northern Europe dating from the Middles Ages with complete cloisters. Some of the rooms have frescoes dating back to the 15th century

We found this gem on our way to Elsinore (just a short walk from the castle) - it is a lovely old (1430) medieval Carmelite monastery and church (we were informed that it is one of the best preserved medieval monasteries in Northern Europe. )...More

A short walk away from the main attractions such as the castle and maritime museum, it is worth the short walk, this brick building hide a nice cloister and a richly decorated church.

Next door to the church - a lovely quiet spot away from the crowds. We were here on a Weds and next door got entertained by someone playing the organ.
