Address
Neighbourhood: Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.

Not a very nice atmosphere from the security running the venue, was sat on one of the sofas charging my phone and was approached by 2 security guards and asked to leave because I’m not buying anything. I mentioned buying some food from the Fotex which he responded buying a little bit of food doesn’t warrant you being in here. They told me they don’t want me in there as the place is ‘private’ for people shopping and spending money, then proceeded to stand near me whilst I packed my charger and collected my bags chatting and laughing. Unexpectedly rude and uncalled for behaviour. Avoid this shopping center 👎🏻

Quite honestly speaking, this may be one of the most dull malls I have frequented. I am flabbergasted by the lack of energy in a mall of this size. The mall itself is physically large, very spacious. However, the range of stores are extremely lacking. If compared to malls in Asia or America, you will find this mall to be quite uninspiring. Not much by the way of fashion, definitely nothing on the luxury scale which you would expect from a mall of this size. I was hoping to find some uniquely Danish boutiques/shops but there is just the usual Zara and H&M etc.
On the plus side, a very large grocery store if you need to stock up on food/snacks and a couple of decent coffee spots.

First trip to Denmark. We parked at the shopping centre to stock up on food. The sign said you can park for three hours. The shopping centre was fine but when we returned we had been hit with a £70 fine for not setting the little dial in our car window to our arrival time. The parking company have refused any leniency. I definitely would not go back as I cannot support a shopping centre that employs such an unreasonable parking company. Just arrived in Denmark? Beware!

Dear Guest,
Thank you for your time and review. We're sorry about your unfortunate experience at our shopping centre.
We provide our guests with 3 hours of free parking, in order to give our guests a nice experience at our centre and to ensure that other pendlers working in inner city won't take advantage of this and use our parking facilities while they are at work in Copenhagen, so that there will be enough parking spaces for all our guests shopping and dining in the centre. Our guests are more than welcome to prolonge the 3 hours by moving the parking disc before the time runs out.
You're welcome to contact Anna.Kristine.Ravn@unibail-rodamco.com in order to look at your case, as the parking company cannot help you with this.
Thank you again and we hope to soon at Fisketorvet - Copenhagen Mall.
Best regards,
Fisketorvet - Copenhagen Mall

We were kicked out because we came in with our little dog. Dogs are not allowed and they were very unfriendly.

Dear Patrick,
We're sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience at Fisketorvet - Copenhagen Mall. We have a no-dog policy due to hygienic and allergic conditions. This is very common in Denmark in shopping centers.
We hope to see you again another time.

Stayed at the Island Hotel and this place is a few minutes walk. Great selection of shops, a mix of international and unique Danish brands. Lots of places to eat, we went to the First Lady which had a nice selection of meals which were delicious. Friendly staff too. Worth a visit, there is a small supermarket inside too.

Plenty of parking in the basement and 2 hours free parking. Rolling stairs to all 3 floors with soft music, plenty of light, elevators and accesible for wheelchairs. Many different types of shops and stores, plenty of cafees and restaurant plus the IMAX Cinema not to be missed. Local train next door and an 8 minute taxi drive from Town Hall

I visited this shopping arcade on a very rainy late August Sunday afternoon, having just checked out of our hotel, which was about 12 minutes walk away (Marriott).
We arrived soaked through but soon dried out, walking around the shops. We bought sweets at a pick and mix style sweet store, a Denmark souvenir calendar and some art supplies in a large bookstore, and got some little presents for my teenage daughter's friends back home (and a much needed umbrella and a pair of sunglasses for myself) in a little jewellry shop near the entrance.
There a wide range of stores and boutiques spread over the two floors that we saw, plus food courts on an additional lower (basement) floor, overlooking the waterways behind the centre, and another food court on the uppermost floor. My daughter had some food in the McDonalds in the basement and it was extremely busy.
There were plenty of clothes shops, most of which really appealed to my teenage daughter. Prices were much higher than the UK, but no higher than elsewhere in Copenhagen.
A lot of the big name brands/stores such as H&M can be found here.
There is a fish theme running through the arcade, with a pretty circular shoal of fish making up a light feature/lamp shade just inside the main entrance, and a huge beautiful metallic shoal of fish in a bent circular configuration hanging over the main escalators with a lovely glass ceiling above it. There is even a large fish tank with tropical fish inside, near the kids play area.
Although there was plenty of seating in the food courts, elsewhere there was none that I could see near the entrance.
There is a turning circle just outside the entrance where you can queue up for a taxi. The walk along the canal from our hotel was scenic despite the rain, but the very wide main road that this complex sits on is not very attractive. I don't think I would walk it alone in the dark!
All in all this is a nice arcade to pass an hour or two (or more) shopping or eating, or at the cinema.

Foreign visitors, beware! This place runs a sophisticated, and unfortunately legal parking scam. Your "3 hours free parking" comes with a small disclaimer (only in Danish, of course) about setting your parking disc. Ironically, I went to this place to buy a parking disc, but the few minutes were enough for the parking nazis to write me a ticket. Congrats, you lost another customer!

Hej Marco
Mange hilsner

Fisketorvet Mall is a good place to hangout for shopping and dining with family/friends.Lots of options to shop and eating options. There is a Fotex super market to shop for gorceries as well. The fish artifacts in the center of the mall and the melting piano figurine is worth clicking a picture or two.
Nearest Station: Dybbolsbro from Noreport station, and then 2 minutes walk on the bridge.
If you are planning to take a bus to the city center rather than the train, closest bus stop is the Tivoli Hotel,Bus 11A.
Just a word of caution: If you are taking a bus from the Mall to the Tivoli bus stop, it quite a deserted patch of road.Avoid if anyone asks you to take a picture, they start demanding money later.Just be careful !! we had a such a experience.
