This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Before my visit, I had read a bit about the boutique via Condé Nast and decided to make a quick stop on my way to the Round Tower. I am SO glad that I did! Stepping into the shop was like stepping into a fairy tale. It was absolutely gorgeous. It's a very, very tiny space but what has been created within it is breathtaking. What I thought would be a quick stop turned into about an hour long visit thanks to the charming man running the store. I did not know much about Mr. Andersen but he kindly provided me with a lesson about the artist, going out of his way to chat with me. I am so grateful for the lovely experience I had. It was by far one of my favorite memories during my solo trip to Copenhagen.

This is a tiny tiny place but I really enjoyed seeing it. It is a very small boutique shop and design display for flowers and artwork relating to plants. It is 40DK to enter and I was only there a short time but it was lovely to talk to the man who runs it and for him to explain more about the artist and the work on display. A very special hidden gem.

This is so beautiful and definitely worth a peer in if you're passing! It's 40 DKK to look around the whole attraction but you can soak up the beauty just by looking around the bottom floor for free!
Definitely a go-to place for photo enthusiasts!

A moveable feast of nature in a store/museum!
I visited Tage's store years ago and came back because it still was a valuable memory in my mind!
Again!
What a spiritual and blossoming heaven

Tage Andersen is an imaginative and famous Danish garden and flower artist I have admired for years. He creates enchanting fairytale-like settings and scenarios out of flowers and leaves and such natural elements as lichen, moss, seeds and twigs. You can visit his Copenhagen hub which is a joint boutique, studio and small museum, at Ny Adelsgade 12, close to Kongens Nytorv, one of the main squares of Copenhagen. Visiting this place is like stepping into a mysterious wizard's world, full of fascinating details and artistic surprises. This is a small but exquisite place. Simply wonderful. Note that you need to pay a small entrance fee, and need to be able to climb steep stairs to see the whole place. The website:http://tage-andersen.com/

Extremely unusual little place. It is like a museum, gallery and shop all rolled into one. There are beautiful flower displays everywhere. There are also very happy looking birds, mostly in large cages but one was free, just walking around, I do not know what is was but it was very big and colourful. The courtyard garden at the back is very interesting, especially for people who do not know what courtyards look like behind the old apartment buildings in Copenhagen. It is like stepping back in time. Worth a visit.
