This is a wonderful place to do some people watching. The fountain is beautiful and adds to the feel of the square, which is bustling with activity.

From this point, you can go down another Pedestrian Shopping street, or you could lunch at Norden Café, see Christiansborg Palace, take a ride on a Canal Boat, hop on the Hop On Hop Off bus or shop at Prada or Luis Vuton's. This is a good meeting place.

This is an easily recognisable landmark, and a good place to get your bearings from. As fountains go, it is pleasant, and the bird sculptures are interesting. The area surrounding is good for shops and shopping. The road to the right leads down to the canal for the canal tours. One of Copenhagen's picture stops.

On our trip to Copenhagen we noticed that all of the fountains had no water in them and the Stork fountain was no exception. We supposed that this was due to the start of winter and by removing the water they removed the possibility for any freezing and subsequent damage. It’s a very intricate fountain, but not sure it is... More

Right outside Louis Vuitton in the Plaza on Stroget if anyone needs a good landmark to use for some fun shopping. There's also one of those underground public restrooms with stairs near the fountain

I recommend you stop-by here, because it's directly in the busy part of the city center. For example, all the shopping stores and restaurants are located in this area.

It is impossible not to notice this fountain. The fountain is located in busy street surrounded with different cafes, shops and street musicians. It is a good place to hang out with friends. We especially enjoyed the gentle cool water splash from the fountain in a very warm day.

Stork fountain has a nice location and it's really a really popular place to hang out as the locals seem to enjoy it as much as the tourists taking photos of it. Not the most elaborate, but the modesty goes well with the design of it and I though if you could buy a fountain in an Ikea catalog, this... More
