Stumbling into the bar from the cold, with my specs misted up, I asked the barman what beers he had.."not many..." he said, this is a WineBar!"
Jackpot I thought, so set to trying some delicious reds. Surprisingly however no solid Bordeaux or Argentinian Malbecs, but I made do with a Languedoc three year old, and a board of delicious cheeses including a sweet manchega rolled in ash (try it :o)
A beer, a generous goblet of red and a cheeseboard set me back around DKK 200, not cheap, but the quality and experience was well worth it.
Clientele was mainly suits finished work for the day, and ladies who lunch enjoying a chin wag, but the ambiance was cosy and rustic.

Great wine&tapas by the Canal

This place has is all! A great view of the canals, the buzz from the center, the relaxed ambience and really Nice friendly and laid back bartenders who know their Austrian wines by heart! Come for a drink after Work or go for winetasting wednesdays !

Deceiving

So before going to take the canal boat tour, as there is a christmas market nearby, we decided to buy hot chocolate for the family. There were pigeons flying nearby and as we have underaged kids, they like running after them. At some point, i saw a man shouting at my son. He was being rude and fiery. When i asked, he was angry that my kid was running after the birds. When i mentioned that he was just playing, he illtreated us and said that we were just fools! I am still angry about that when i think that sometimes people prefer to illtreat human beings, specially children. We like do like animals for sure, but what about human beings?
