We had only allowed one day to visit the attractions and museums here. It is not enough. Some places don't open too early and others close too early so it is hard to fit the many, varied attractions into your day.

Lay your way down through this isle - you can see main Danish power institution elements, such as Christiansborg Palace, ministries, National Archives, the Royal Danish Library and Stock Exchange.

Slotsholmen (or "The Castle Islet") is actually an island in the harbor of Copenhagen and part of Copenhagen Inner City.Among other notable buildings on it, the vast Christiansborg Palace which dominates the island is most notable.

A zone in the heart of the city. Full of monuments and incredibly well saved. To be enoyed on a bike stopping and visiting as much as you can.

This is a lovely area in Copenhagen, where you can find the Christiansborg palace, the parliament, the stock exchange and other lovely buildings. Great for an afternoon walk.

Nice little area that Copenhagen was founded on. Well connected to everywhere in the city so worth a wander around on your way to the sights.
