A small island is one of the main attractions of Copenhagen. Here is located most of the city's administrative buildings encl. Parliament. Tourists usually do not miss it. There are no houses, shops, restaurants and narrow pedestrian streets.

This is a really nice area in Copenhagen with a lot of lovely buildings and great architecture to take advantage of. Very close to the army museum what is a must see as well.

We had only allowed one day to visit the attractions and museums here. It is not enough. Some places don't open too early and others close too early so it is hard to fit the many, varied attractions into your day.

Lay your way down through this isle - you can see main Danish power institution elements, such as Christiansborg Palace, ministries, National Archives, the Royal Danish Library and Stock Exchange.
