I did the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum (Guinness) and the Hans Christian Anderson is attached to it so you can got from the one to the other provided you pay for that.

Brought back warm memories - Used our Copenhagen cards for entry - Enjoyed seeing replications of some of his stories and of learning of others that I'd forgotten he'd written. Brilliant author - makes me want to dig out my old books and read them...More

I loved his stories and thought this would be a great museum. It was very disappointing. It is a walk through his life that you read off of cards and wall posters. It is a very small museum. Do not waste your time or money.

I love fairy tales and was very much looking forward to this museum. There is not much there. I did learn about the life of Hans but not much else. There are very few displays and they are not very informative. This needs to be...More

Tis "museum" is a treat for anyone who ever loved story telling at its best. It's quaint and authentic and fascinating to read about the life and background of one of the greatest writers of fairy tales..

Learn more about Hans Christian Andersen and his tales - many of which are far darker than you might realize - in this unique museum. We enjoyed the hour or so we spent here.

This would appeal very much to children as well as adults. The stories of Hans Christian Andersen are told in an interesting way.

This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its
blend of charming old buildings and bold new

as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner
city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which
consists of three buildings, two of which are new and
situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and
