Very well signposted station, easy to find your way about. Left luggage is reasonable - less than £10 for 24 hours for a large locker that can easily take two lots of cabin luggage. Good range of shops and places to eat.

Nothing special to write home about, but I feel I must give it a very good rating as it does offer warmth in the winter, cool in the summer and selection of outlets to have a snack or a drink. It is safe and there is place to sit. Denmark has a good rail network and this is Copenhagen's main... More

Well organised with a very helpful information point, it is in the heart of the City and right next to Trivili Gardens. Used it in rush hour and it did not feel too busy.

Not much to say about the station itself - compared to other stations in the world it feels safe. We took the train to the Louisana art museum which was fantastic!

Arrived from the airport, it was easy to navigate and is very centrally located. It is right next to Tivoli gardens.

Particularly its architecture, for people like me who love the particular places that have a story to tell, then it is worth a visit. One considers that it is a clean station, well-organized, efficient services. The trains are punctual efficient, if as you think to make a journey by train to reach Stockholm suggest you to do it even if... More

A very outstanding station with multi lingual staff on hand as well as with a timetable of trains running on time. The station has great facilities and amenities including shops and food outlets with ease of access from each end of the station, with a travel office and staff on hand at ticket machines as well as information kiosk to... Central Station is a place where architecture combines classic Danish modernism trains. Copenhagen's main train station served by the urban trains but also trains provide rail link with the rest of Denmark but also Sweden via the Oresund Bridge.

A central station that does what it says on the tin. It's is copenhagens main station and as such allows to to travel to wherever you want. It is large, yet not unpersonal and it is well sign posted and you can find trains and platforms very easily.

This is a centrally located hub for trains and busses in Copenhagen. It is well laid out and spacious with lots of retail choices on the ground level. The building isn't particularly beautiful, but it serves its purpose well.

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
