This fountain, to the pagan goddess Gejfun, is located very close to the Citadel, the little mermaid, and the royal landing. Since it is so close it is worth a look see & photos. It is pretty impressive and worth a stop.

There is a great story related to this monument. It is a great place to visit as it is walking distance to many more historical places in this area.

The Gefionspringvandet Fountain is both unique & cultural. Definitely worth a visit ... the Hop-on/Hop-off Buses all stop here, so it is easy to get to and there gardens & a park here to relax in as well.

It's really lovely fountain, but something is missing to make it really excellent. Maybe it's power of water, it's really modest.

This is a really lovely fountain down by St Alban's Church / the little mermaid statue. The main statue and fountain are great but also keep an eye out for the detail on the walls surrounding the pool.

On a recent visit to Copenhagen, the 3 of us, my partner, 21-year-old daughter and I decided to visit this fountain. Marvelous sculpture. Well worth the visit. Thoroughly enjoyed by all 3.
