A great collection of art, and a must see if you are seeking a good feel for the Danish culture. Take your time as you peruse the exhibits--this will take over one hour.

We made a special effort to go the the national gallery and were not disappointed. Besides a really lovely gallery highlighting Danish painters, there were other galleries with some lovely impressionist painting by Matisse etc as well Edvard Munch and German Expressionist.
