Really wanted to like this place but it just did not do it for me. I wanted to learn about Danish design and hoped for more. Took me less than an hour to tour round and I left feeling a little underwhelmed by the whole...More

I couldn't wait to go see all the fabulous Danish design chairs, and happily I got to see so many! There was a special exhibit of fashion with gorgeous clothing and accessories, and also a special exhibit of Japanese design and its influence on Danish...More

We went here for free with our Copenhagen Card. It was brilliant and well worth a visit. There was a Japanese exhibit with prints, etchings, ceramics and more and then a fashion exhibition showing various garments which you could get quite close to. Finally there...More

Haven't gone in the museum yet, I expect it's great, just sitting in the café drinking tea, and wondering why nobody can be bothered to oil the cafe door which makes an appalling noise and is making the whole experience a bit Blair Witch

This was a phenomenal museum! An absolute must to do if you love anything modern. There are original pieces of furniture, art, clothing, etc....the building itself is wonderful, and the collection is excellent. Its located in a great area to also walk around.

Both the permanent and rotating exhibits are great, the cafe and gardens are lovely and the museum store and bookstore have some interesting items. There are free lockers.

The various collections are all interesting, especially the amazing Balmain dresses and the porcelain collection. The café with tables outside provides an oasis of peace. Once started there is no escape mid-way and no lift access to the upper floor. Also there are few chairs...More

This museum was at the top of our "to do" list and it did not disappoint. Excellent design and furniture exhibits; there is a movie running as well that gave in-depth insight into the start of the design movement, which was really informative and interesting....More

Generally not in a central location so you'll have to go a bit out of your way to get here - but it's worth an hour or two for the Scandinavian furniture. Additional exhibits were underwhelming and the building itself isn't terribly exciting (old hospital).

I wanted to go there to see the marvels of Danish design, and I was disappointed. The first ~third of the museum (objects, decoration, chairs, etc.) was awesome. Exactly what I wanted to see. Then the rest is about haute couture and other uniteresting stuff....More

This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its
blend of charming old buildings and bold new
architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well
as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner
city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which
consists of three buildings, two of which are new and
situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and
venues of the inner city and its surrounding

I can't say for sure, but I bet it is. If the front entrance only has stairs there will likely be a side entrance. Because Denmark has a lot of old buildings, accessibility is lower than in the US, but on the whole, things... More
