A walk between old houses and farms. All agricultural activities and rural life are presented and demonstrated. came for an hour, stayed three. The only reason we left is we didn't bring food with us.

The open-air museum is definitely worth a visit if you're in Copenhagen for a few days. Very interesting to see what village life was like in the past and how the buildings were constructed for cold weather.

Great place to wander in and out of original and replica houses from all over Denmark at different periods in history. Plenty of open space for children to run and play. Cafe also good.

Get a train from Copenhagen station to Sorgenfri station (Sorgenfri station is a station on the Hillerød radial of the S-train network) and walk from there, it's about 11min.
