One simply does not plan a visit to Copehagen without going to Tivoli Gardens! There are literally things to do for every single age group, with rides, restaurants and cafés, games, and even the odd concert, I felt as though I could've spent the entire...More

We visited the gardens as a way to pass an afternoon. The rides were fun, ranging from kids to white-knuckle. It's a smaller and older version of Disneyworld, but that is it's charm. It was a fun way to spend a spare few hours in...More

After 19 years from my first visit, Tivoli remains a colorful and beautiful park. We arrived at 8 pm in an unexpected cold (last week of April) Sunday night. The main attractions were open but Tivoli was almost empty, and it was 3 hours before...More

Interesting and fun to see but can be appreciated most by families with kids. A little difficult to get around, but stick with it and you'll enjoy. It's more than an amusement park and can be appreciated by just looking and not taking the rides....More

We visited at the end of November and all the Christmas decorations were up with hundreds of thousands of twinkly lights, it was fabulous to experience. Myself and my partner don't go on the rides but it didn't mater it was lovely just to walk...More

Expensive to get in, and expensive to eat. Not sure what all the fuss is about. Lots of theme park rides have people screaming above your head, while you try and enjoy the gardens or eat a meal - it doesn't work for me. I...More

We bought a (TA endorsed) combination ticket with a canal cruise and admission to Tivoli - a great idea. Tivoli changed over the last 30 years - but the appeal at night was still great!

Hi Eric This imaginary place is open: 6 April - 24 August 13 October - 5 November 18 November - 31 December 😊
On the Tivoli Gardens website, it says "Fridays after 7pm requires a separate entrance ticket." The wording is confusing to me and I can't find any context. For the record: Entrance before 7pm is 120 DKK, the after 7pm ticket is higher - 160 DKK. Does this mean that, if you arrive before 7pm and wish to stay until after 7pm, you need to purchase two tickets (that is a before 7pm ticket and an after 7pm ticket)? Do they shuffle everyone out and make them re-enter with an after 7PM ticket?
