Bardzo ciekawy obiekt.

Bardzo interesujący zabytkowy budynek, zbudowany na wyspie Holmen, jako część bazy marynarki wojennej w 1745r. Pełnił funkcję wartowni i budynku reprezentacyjnego. Najbardziej charakterystyczną cechą tego barokowego budynku jest nieproporcjonalnie wielka korona, wieńcząca wieżę zegarową. Korona ta została skopiowana przez Thorvalda Jørgensena w projekcie iglicy trzeciego Pałacu Christiansborg. Jednak w czasie renowacji w 1934r. dodano jeszcze dwie korony. Jego charakterystyczna sylwetka znana jest każdemu, kto kiedykolwiek zawitał do kopenhaskiego portu.

We voeren hier twee maal langs en hadden het geluk een oefening te kunnen meemaken op het driemaster zeilschip Georg Stage dat daar die dagen aangemeerd lag naast de halte van de waterbus.
Fascinerend schouwspel alleszins.
