Remarkable Arne Jacobsen building boasting much of the original furniture and fittings. Lovely banisters, desks, lighting and a life-affirming mural.

Build in 1941 and designed by the world famous Arne Jacobsen, this city hall is fabulous from the outside but even more so from the inside. Hans Wegner did all the furniture and lighting, and it is all still there, perfectly kept. A real treasure...More

We had a guided tour in the townhall saturday. Most impressive interior, architecture and history. We also visited the belltower, when the bells started chiming! The guide was very knowledgeable with histories about the design, construction etc.

Wow - this is the sexiest public building. So beautiful and a calm environment. Open to visitors, school trips, and citizens.

This is still working as the town hall but its open to the public. Its a bit of a masterpiece by the famous designer Arne Jacobsen. Flooring and details are amazing.

As with all Town Halls everywhere, it is not a tourist site but open to the public. Outside, the building is modern so take a picture. Inside is nothing special so you will only stay at the site for a few minutes.

Go on one of the organised tours of this building - they're packed with insight into Arne Jacobsen's design and the history of the design and build. Fascinatign and an impressive place to have a look inside.
