We visited on a Monday afternoon and really the only other people there were children on a school trip; this meant the zoo was really quiet and it was so nice. (I think) all bar one cafe was closed but given that the place was practically empty I'm not surprised this was the case. We ate at Chunga which was... More

We visited in January and many of the different places was closed because of making ready for the new secon. The highlights was the tigers, and it was very interesting to see this amazing animal. I will try it in sommertime it must be much better.

Lovely place to show your kids and teach them about nature, wildlife and humans as part of our ecosystem. Animals are well nourished and treated respectfully.

Depending on the time of the year, this zoo costs 175-195 Kr. so it is probably the most expensive zoo we ever visited, especially due to its small size. The zoo is 4 km from the city center. Taxi costs more than 200 Kr. You can also take a city bus (31, 32, 51, 52, 52S, 59S, 141, 141E, 141N,... More

I visited this zoo with my boyfriend during a Saturday afternoon. Even though some animals were not out (probably because of the weather), we had fun. Organized, cleaned and with several facilities for children and grow-up!

Did the behind the scenes tour, which had 20 participants and 1 guide. After 5 min. half the group was lost due to the very fast pace. Not exactly designed for those with strollers. You do get to see where they refrigerate the food, get closer to the lions (if they are indoor), and a chance to see all the... More
