At Nyborg Castle you can visit the halls where the Danish king in the Middle Ages called the parliament (Danehof) together. Representatives from the whole country gathered here to make big decisions about Denmark's future - and to hold extravagant feasts and thrilling jousting tournaments.

The old part of Nyborg is very charming and the "Slot" is clearly the highlight. Couldn't enter this dame as it is currently being renovated.
