This beach is just a 20 to 30 minute stroll from Koukanaries through some lovely pine woodland on a very well trod path. The beach is pretty quiet with just the one bar and a few sunbeds but nice sand. At one end there seemed to be a bit of naturism but I did not inspect to thoroughly. The bar... More

It is a nice beach but when we were there a few days ago it looked pretty scrappy with broken sunbeds, piles of bamboo leaves in one area , a rubber tire etc. Maybe no one is keeping it clean at the end of the season. Easy nice walk from bus stop 24 through the pine forest, 20 minutes was... More

Asked for directions to Maratha and was sent here! First site of Skiathos beach.Impressed but clutter of sunbeds and parasols spoil it.Prefer Elias next door.

My favourite beach on Skiathos - it means either a walk or quad/jeep to reach but worth the trek Clear water and snorkelling opportunities abound Clean sand - raked daily with sun beds and umbrellas (8€) Taverna serves the best chips ever!!!

We tried this beach one day and found the waves far too huge for us and decided to go elsewhere. Came back another day and it was less wild. You really need a car to get to this place and the views along the way are lovely. I personally am not overly fond of this place because even on a... More

Get off at bus stop 26 and walk through the woods-25 mins if you're strolling. There was about 10 people there when we went, the opposite of koukounaris. The little taverna has sheltered seating and is reasonably priced. The waves are stronger than most of the other beaches on a windy day, but still fine to swim in. A really... More

Well Worth a visit either a walk through the forest about 1/2 hour or by car 15 minutes along the forest roads. One Taverna great chips / Salad washed down with an ice cold beer. Nude bathing at the far right and a "Rustic" beach to cater for all tastes

Visited place with a small boat because due to wind was not possible to visit Lalaria beach as was our program. Indeed as per advise of the Captain of the small boat Mandraki beach is a bay with very clean crystal water and beautiful sandy. Specific beach is not so crowd and can be consider quiet beach thus you can... More

Drove to mandraki but did not stay as it was blowing and decided the southern beaches would be more sheltered. Lovely if you prefer the wild look, but did not appear to be the idyllic caribbean type beach as described?
