It's If you have just one monastery to visit in Poros, that's the one. Keep in mind the visiting hours and remember to dress correctly (both men and women) no shorts and sleeveless shirts.

A beautiful church and monastery with excellent views and a nice cafe for quick coffee before returning to the beach! Well worth a visit

It's a plain holy , quiet monastery with old Byzantine icons . There is an interesting icon of the Mother of God ,painted by the italian painter and doctor Raphael Tsecoli.The view from there to the sea is lovely !

Visited in the morning, a very small church and monastery, found the whole area very cooling and peaceful, went in long-sleeved shirt and shorts and the lady's the same but still covered up with the shoals provided, great little history book available for 5 euros...More

This is a lovely monastery in the forest. It is worth a visit but please be dressed accordingly. It is a holy place.

We drove to this monastery which is about half an hour from Poros. The drive on a rather dangerous road is just fantastic through thickly wooded pine forests and the monastery is accessible only if you are dressed the way they demand. No shorts etc...More
