If you visit Aigina Island you definitely have to spent some time @ template of Aphaia. There is also a small neglected museum that deserves a visit.

When you visit Aegina , pls try to visit this temple. It is by far the best sight of the island. Also the location is stunning.

There are different philosophies on how to travel: what worked for me on this specific trip to the island was an agreement with a taxi driver to take me to the major sites for 35 euro. I have a 10 and 8 year old and...More

We visited this ruin in the isle of Aegina as part of another tour during our one day cruise to three islands (Hydra, Poros and Aegina). This place is beautiful and the views from there are breathtaking.

Beautiful ancient temple in a lovely setting on a hill with pine trees. Lovely little coffee shop and gift shop. It is said that Afaia, Sounion and the Acropolis form an equilateral triangle

There is probably a 100 yard walk up hill but flat at the top where temple is located. I would not say it is steep but a gradual incline.
