A new wine tourism company that is targeted at verified wine lovers, offering its visitor private and luxury experiences of deep knowledge of Greek wine culture and bring him into touch with Greek wine history from antiquity to the present day. At the same time, we organize visits at the archaeological and cultural sites in Peloponnese of Greece, as Ancient Olympia, Mycenae, etc Anchored in the Peloponnese terroirs, we vibrate to the rhythm of our time, aiming to connect wine connoisseurs and ordinary wine enthusiasts to the modern face of our local wine culture – in a land gifted with an artistic landscape and steeped in rich history – in the most authentic way. Our family, together with my friend and his family, wanted to see some vineyards while staying in The Peloponnese region for vacation. My friend did some searching online, got some offers and we ended up choosing The Wine Connoisseurs.
Since all four adults wanted to taste some wine we were picked up where we are staying and driven around in a nice new mini buss.
We really hade a wonderful day I Nemea with Andriana.
She took us to the Palivou Estate, Gaia and Seméli, where she had picked out some really nice wines for us to sample.
She took good care of the kids too. They got some books, juice, cookies and other treats. (We has brought som iPads, which helped too.)
The day ended with a three course dinner at a nice restaurant and some coffee at a coffee shop in Korinth.
This was an educational and fun day! Highly recommend!

We had an excellent time with Andriana guiding us through 3 different wineries and wine tastings in the Nemea region. Tasted a lot of very nice wines and the kids got juice and cookies. We liked that the wineries were quite different, from the family and cozy atmosphere at Palivou to the larger more industrial layout at Semeli. We were picked up and dropped off were we were staying quite far away from the bigger touristy areas which was nice also. Can recommend this even if you have kids with as they enjoyed the day too.

We visited Nemea following the tour “Drink like a God”.
The guided tour to Ancient Nemea as well as the tour in Semeli estate were perfectly organized.
We learnt a lot about Greece’s Wine History and indigenous grape variety of Agiorgitiko.
Our wine taste included five wines and a Greek private meal in the winery which was tasteful.
Andriana and Margarita were excellent hostesses!
The guided tour to Ancient Nemea as well as the tour in Semeli estate were perfectly organized.
We learnt a lot about Greece’s Wine History and indigenous grape variety of Agiorgitiko.
Our wine taste included five wines and a Greek private meal in the winery which was tasteful.

This tour is ideal for wine lovers who want to deepen their knowledge of Greek wine (or just want to drink exceptional wine). It was evident that Andriana selected the wineries and the wines we tried to ensure we sampled a variety of styles and production techniques, and that the wines would be among the best the region has to offer. We ended the tour with a better understanding of what's unique about Greek wine & the wine industry in Greece. Would highly recommend!

What a beautiful experience. From start to finish Andriana took care of our every wine loving wish. She hand picked wines at each stop and did an amazing job explaining each wine. We loved the booklets to go along with the pairings. We visited two wineries with excellent and had nibbles. We also made a stop at traditional Greek Taverna where we were introduced to a different wine to pair with our meal. Andriana also brought us to the Great Temple of Zeus in Argolis and gave us a guided tour. This was an experience we will never forget and have already recommended to so many friends! My husband and I spent a wonderful day learning about Greek wines with Ms. Andriana. We did this tour with her on the last day of our holiday. So in addition to learning about viniculture in Nemea and tasting lovely Nemean wines, we learned more about the Greek wines we had tasted from other regions during our trip.
It was clear that she had developed good relations with two wineries we visited - Ms. Andriana curated the six wines we tasted at each winery. We tasted a few wines that the wineries did not include in their regular tasting sessions. We were also able to linger longer at each winery to chat and take photos.
We then had a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in new Nemea - she picked a lovely wine from another local winery that suited the range of dishes we had selected from the menu.
We highly recommend a tasting tour with Ms. Andriana when staying the Nafplio area - it took us only 1-hour to reach Nemea. Since her colleague, Mr. Matteo, did all the driving and Ms. Andriana was able to give full attention to our questions during the drive. We learned about Greek history, life, and economics during our tour and felt like we had made a new friends in Greece by the time we were dropped off at our bed & breakfast.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Ms. Andriana, and we couldn't have asked for a better day! It was so lovely to leave the hustle of Athens and escape to the peaceful and beautiful Nemea region to taste some amazing wines. We knew next to nothing about Greek wines before our holiday and Andriana answered all of our questions with kindness and professionalism. We also really enjoyed having the chance to chat over lunch and learn even more about Greek wine, food, and history. A fantastic day all around!

My wife and I had a wonderful day with Andriana! We visit Greece every 2 years and make it a point to do at least 2 wine tours each time we visit to further educate ourselves about Greek wine but also be able to bring our knowledge back to the US to share with others who are interested. We had never visited wineries in the Attica area so we were very excited to learn!
Andriana is a master planner and keeps you informed about any possible changes or delays. Our tour was altered close to our date due to COVID, but Andriana quickly found alternative wineries for us that were just fantastic. The wines, the views, the wineries, the people and the food were just terrific! We were picked up promptly at our hotel in Syntagma and away we went!
Just a lovely time to learn and make new friends.
Andriana is a master planner and keeps you informed about any possible changes or delays. We have done wine tours in Italy, France and the US and this tour, led by the lovely and gracious Adriana was the best! We started with a prompt pick-up from our hotel in central Athens and within 40 minutes we were in the wine region of Markopoulo to taste some extremely high quality (the value was shocking) white wines. We walked the vineyards and learned about bush vines and spoke to vineyard-mangers and wine makers. All the while we tasted along with Adriana who provided a well prepared tasting book (above and beyond!) and her knowledgeable and charming company as well! It is worth every penny—we highly recommend!

The wine tasting event was very well organized and we have learned a lot about the taste, smell and colour of the different sorts of wine. The wine-guide was well informed and gave us information in an interesting and entertaining way. Semelis wineyard was perfectly located and we could further enjoy the wine with a nice view until the sea. Ms. Foi and her team were very welcome and friendly. In the end we received nice gifts, a broschure with information regarding the wines we tried and nice pictures to remember those moments!
